When we're depressed, movement is one of the things we need to start to feel regulated in our nervous system. It's hard, but I'm here to guide you through with curiosity and compassion.
Being still by choice requires our nervous systems to be in a space where there is regulation or a sense of comfort. Not everyone is able to experience that right away. In those instances sitting still for a relaxing, meditative experience can feel impossible.
