As humans we are naturally social beings and will be in relationship with various other humans during our lifetime.
Some of these relationships may be stressful, some may feel burdensome, and others may feel nourishing, safe, and supportive.
These types of relationships give us a sense of belonging and can have a positive impact on our physical, mental, and emotional health — studies have shown that folks in safe, nourishing, and supportive relationships are less likely to experience depression (Sneed & Cohen, 2014). ⠀
So while the onus for healing is often placed on the individual, it's important to note that without community and relationship, healing is exponentially more challenging. ⠀
We do our best to choose times that may work for folks with varying schedules, but we understand that the times won't work for everyone.
For the sake of confidentiality, our groups are not recorded, so if the timing doesn't work for you, it's best not to sign up for that group. The best option is to join our email list, so you'll be notified when we offer other groups with different time options.
